Hello all from (usually) sunny Arizona. My name is Rick. I'm a retired USAF Msgt, 24 years in blue. In service I was a foreign language specialist and in my last tour, a mission crew member of the EC-130H Compass Call electronic combat platform. I was assigned to the 41st ECS and also flew with the 43d ECS, all here at Davis Monthan AFB, AZ. I spent 12 of my 24 years overseas; a short tour at San Vito AS, Italy and the rest in (West) Germany. I was born and raised in Pennsylvania.
I love building aircraft models. I started that when I was about 8 with an X-15 if I recall correctly. Now, arthritic hands force me to build the kits with larger parts, and even that is a problem at times. I have to surround my work area with drop protection because I have trouble holding on and frequently drop parts.
