Hi y'all! As you might gather from my screen name, I am not a native of below the Maon-Dixon line. Born and raised just outside of Buffalo NY (home of Curtiss and Bell aircraft) I ended up here temporarily for 24 years when I started a career as an air traffic controller. I'm primarily an aviation nut, aircraft owner and operator, but I will admit to eclectic interests in just about anything to do with transportation.

The pic is of my Acrosport II In the workshop is a 1950 Cessna 170A just starting a father/son restoration project
I like your profile pic, my dad worked for AA for 35 years. Is it safe to assume you're an A & P?

I'm just an A for right now just needing to test out for my P. I've worked at a Mooney Service center for about 2 1/2 years.
